Fifth question: Rapture

The "Rapture". One of the things I absolutely struggle with. Now that I attend a Christian school, we learn about the "Rapture". But, my mom and dad say otherwise. They[my parents] believe that there is no "Rapture", and that the "Rapture" is just a made up thing by some woman years ago! I don't agree with the "Rapture" or disagree with it. Something I haven't really studied. However, it is strange how there is only one Scripture that "talks" about it. I can't remember the reference, so *shrug*.
Questions...
  1. What exactly is the "Rapture?" Do the teachers expect me to know what it is? Because I don't.
  2. If there is going to be a "Rapture", why is there only one Scripture that "points" to it?

Fourth answer: God's love

Mere answer:
Because I'm His child. :) Also... Exodus 19:5-
Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
Not exactly saying, "I love you." but still.

God bless.

Third answer: Life

Sorry! I have been so busy! Answers:
  1. Because we are so idiotic to realize that we are to praise God, and love Him. And never take the time to stop and smell the roses.
  2. There is, but that means you have to add spontaneous things in life.
  3. Of course. We are to praise Him and love Him. We are to love others, love ourselves, and share God's love to others not knowing the beauty of it.
God bless!

Second answer: Drinking and Alcohol

First, forgive me for my absence. School and other activities needed my attention.
Now, moving onto the answers. Let's see. Drinking helps ease the pain and/or stress of things, which is why most men who are in their 30-40's or even higher ages drink. Others who are younger drinks for pleasure. (I noted this when I went to restaurants and watched people. Yes, I do like to watch people.) I do not know why Sumerians and other sorts of cultures made beer. Maybe, in honour of their god. They [alcoholics] do understand the pain that goes on in between their families and friends. One of the possible reasons they drink is because the alcoholic's guardian(s) drank beer when the alcoholic was growing up. (I've heard countless stories of people I know who drink about their childhood)

God bless!

Fourth Question: God's love

God's love is absolutely amazing as shown in John 3:16, and, of course, other verses. But, I can't seem to find a verse stating why God loves us. And seriously, why would God, the Maker of the universe, love us, sinners not even worth God's time? He's amazing, we're not. He's all knowing, we have little knowledge. He made the universe, we live in His universe. His love is more than our love could ever be. All in all, of course, God is way above us. Question:
1.) Why would God love us?

Third Question: Life

Last Sunday, I went to Sunday School for the first time in... three months. The question/topic was,"What are we supposed to do in life?" or something near those words. The class used Ecclesiastes 1:1-12 and 12:8-14. We received the answer in chapter 12. Fear God and follow His commandments. But now, I really feel like life is REALLY meaningless; because everyday, every week, every month is a schedule. It's so common, and I'm probably not the only one who feels like it. Question time!
1.) Why does life seem so meaningless?
2.) Schedules, schedules, schedules. Why why why? Is there ANY way to break from the schedules?
3.) I know we're supposed to fear God, and do follow His commandments, but is there more?
